Whichever direction you face, you’ll find a picturesque backdrop for your nature filled escape.
The meadow is teeming with life. Enjoy the sound of soothing birdsong, spot hares and deer, and once night has fallen, listen out for the call of owls from nearby trees as your campfire crackles.

Although the space itself has a real off-grid feel, Southwood Living Meadow is conveniently located near charming villages that boast welcoming pubs, delightful coffee shops, and local farm shops – which you can spend the afternoon wandering. If you want to squeeze in as much as possible in your stay, you’ll be able to borrow one of the two bikes available and cycle along quiet country lanes, taking in the surroundings as you go.

Southwood Living Meadow is great spot for road trippers – with the historic city of Norwich just 20 minutes away, while The Norfolk Broads are a mere 30-minute drive. If you’re craving a day at the beach, you’ll be walking barefoot on the sand after a 50-minute drive!

The site is a wonderful setting for family camping trips, if you are looking to reconnect and create lasting memories in nature. After a busy day of exploring the beautiful countryside and surrounding areas, you can gather around the blazing campfire in the firepit provided for you, and as night falls, share stories as you watch the sky light up with countless stars.

Access to Southwood Living Meadow is easy, just off a narrow country lane and down a short stretch of grass track to the meadow just behind the gardens and house. You’ll have your choice of grass pitch from the mown areas throughout the meadow. A compost toilet is also provided for your convenience, a short walk from the camping field.
