Coast

Borderlands

Dark skies
Home to 572-square-miles of protected night sky, Northumberland is blessed with some of the darkest skies in the whole of Europe. The longest section of the Northumberland 250 takes you on an unforgettable journey into the most isolated corners of England. Visit Northumberland’s only UNESCO World Heritage site, England’s largest forest, and a world-famous tree along the way.
Country
Between the picturesque towns of Corbridge and Rothbury, embark on a 48-mile journey across the Eastern peninsula of Northumberland’s sparsely populated National Park.
