New sites in the South West

We’re delighted to launch a beautiful collection of sites across Wiltshire, Cornwall, Somerset and Devon; from stunning coastlines, long stretches of rolling hills and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty teeming with wildlife.

All have been personally visited and approved by Founder Grace Fell to ensure they fit the Wild With Consent brief: sites which offer the utmost privacy in some of the most secluded spots in the UK.

Discover a selection of our favourite new locations below, or browse all our new South West sites here.

Best for stargazing

Stockham Farm, Devon

Stockham Farm has been officially accredited as a Dark Sky Friendly Business by Exmoor National Park, which is the first Dark Sky Reserve in Europe and regarded as one of the best stargazing spots in the UK. Located just over a mile up into the hills above the lovely market town of Dulverton, this site boasts wonderful views down the Exe Valley and of Dunkery Beacon, and is perfectly located for those looking to explore the moorland and wooded valleys of Exmoor.

Best for farm life

West Ilkerton Farm, Devon

A family-run farm in Exmoor National Park, just four miles from the coast with direct access to splendid footpaths across the moors or to the seaside, making for delightful walks. Taking a hosted farm tour, guests can learn about Red ruby Devon Cattle, Exmoor horn sheep and Exmoor ponies and there is plenty of wildlife to spot in the local area, from deer to butterflies.

Best for surfing

Atlantic View, Cornwall

This site is in a lofty position on the hills above Widemouth Bay, a long sandy beach which is very popular for surfing. Just 5 minutes off the Atlantic Way driving route, get the sea views without the crowds; instead you’ll have red deer, hares, buzzards and red kites for company.

Best for heritage

Knoll Ground, Wiltshire

Located in the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with spectacular views over the rolling hills. This is a great spot for cycling and walking with plenty of trails through the countryside and attractions such as Stourhead and Longleat House within 5 miles, making for a perfect day trip.

Best for flora and fauna

Challacombe Meadows, Devon

Renowned for its birdlife and archaeology, this traditional farm is located on the edge of a rare wild flower hay meadow in the heart of Dartmoor. It is the world’s first farm to be Certified Regenerative by A Greener World, running in harmony with nature and prioritising sustainable practices, biodiversity and animal welfare.

Grace Fell

Hi, I'm Grace, founder of Wild With Consent! I love getting out into the great outdoors at every possible opportunity, and am passionate about helping more people explore our great countryside. I think Northumberland has some of the best natural beauty in the country - but I'm biased having grown up there!
