Low Trewhitt Farm
Low Trewhitt, Netherton, Northumberland, England
About this listing
At the end of a long farm road, discover this lovely river valley in the heart of the Northumbrian countryside. The River Wreigh meanders through the grassy field, perfect for sitting next to and watching the water go by.
Look out for occasional sightings of kingfisher, otters and spawning salmon from the River Coquet. There are lovely walks over the moor onto Simonside, one of the most distinctive hills in the Northumberland National Park with an amazing 360 view of the Cheviots and the North Sea coast. The Sandstone Way mountain biking route runs through the farm, and is great for an adventurous bike ride, while the surrounding quiet lanes are perfect for road cyclists.
Access is along a private farm road, parking on grass.
This is a leave no trace site. All guests must bring their own toilet facilities, and dispose of waste responsibly.
