How do we find our sites?

Beautiful and unspoilt sites are at the heart of Wild With Consent. We invest time into finding the right sites to expand our network, and visiting new sites in-person to check they fit our ethos is a key part of the validation process.

We hunt out pitches of the highest quality, often in places that you wouldn’t otherwise be able to access. Boutique vineyards, family farms in the heart of a national park, coastal sites with private access to the beach…finding these hidden gems is the most exciting part of the business!

Meeting the farmers who host our sites is also a rewarding experience, as they share their love of the land and wealth of local knowledge. They help us find the perfect spot on their land for guests to park up, so your visit is based on local expertise from the start. They are always willing to give guests a helping hand and tell them about the best local spots to visit while in the area.

So what’s our process for finding a new site?

We find farmers who want to diversify in a low impact way, and then set out across the country to visit them. Cornwall. Devon. Kent. The Scottish Highlands. Worcester to Wales. We criss-cross the country, meeting landowners, checking out sites, sitting down in farmhouse kitchens, explaining what we’re doing, and listening to what landowners want. It’s exciting. It’s exhausting. But it’s at the heart of Wild With Consent and makes our business tick.

As Wild With Consent has expanded, the schedule has got more hectic. But our methods remain largely the same. We still think it’s important to get out there, see the sites, and chat with landowners. To us, that’s the only way to make sure that our sites are of the highest quality.

If you want true off-grid camping in some of the most beautiful areas of the British countryside, we’ve got you sorted.

And if you’ve got some land and want to explore a low impact, minimal investment diversification opportunity, we’d love to hear from you!

Hi, I'm Grace, founder of Wild With Consent! I love getting out into the great outdoors at every possible opportunity, and am passionate about helping more people explore our great countryside. I think Northumberland has some of the best natural beauty in the country - but I'm biased having grown up there!
