Go off-grid and ditch the crowded campsites

This is campervanning, but not as you know it. Special permission from Wild With Consent landowners allows our members to get off-grid and ditch the crowded campsites.

We take guests off the beaten track. Each campsite is a designated, secluded area of private land with permission, but no facilities. Conscious camping is paramount. We only allow one campervan at a time, ensuring our members leave no trace and the wilderness is left wild.

Don’t have a campervan? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with our carefully selected directory of campervan and motorhome hire companies. Join us to get access.

Seclusion

With only one campervan permitted to stay on each site per night, you can enjoy the luxury of privacy, peace and tranquillity. Our sites have a limited man-made footprint, which allows guests to revel in the surrounding natural world with no distractions.

Recalibration

Connect with the wild and truly immerse yourself in nature. Escape the everyday by coming to one of our private spots where you can soak up the restorative benefits of nature, and enjoy a refuge from the stresses of everyday life.

Consent

We personally select stunning sites and seek special permission from landowners. This allows our members to get off-grid and escape crowded campsites – but safe in the knowledge that a friendly host is nearby.

Testimonials

It was perfect. We watched the tide come in, then had an amazingly clear sky at night star gazing and even saw 6 shooting stars In the morning – watched the sun rise, listening to the birds and saw rabbits playing in the field. Such a peaceful, relaxing experience – this is the only way to camp !

Absolutely amazing stay from start to finish at Scremerston. Peaceful, and beautiful with the added bonus of amazing home cooked food after a days walking, followed by amazing cakes and sublime breakfasts all delivered to our door. Couldn’t fault a thing, We would highly recommend and we will be back.

Gemma

Beautiful spot, with fantastic view of Holy Island. Great to have the use of a fire pit. Owner friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

Dominic and Jacquie

The location is beautiful, overlooking the sea and Holy Island but tucked away in a little corner of the farm. I saw dolphins frolicking in the sea from my bed. I met the farmer and we had a lovely chat as I was out walking.

Eileen

What an incredibly relaxing way to spend a weekend. With the luxury of being close to nature with the only sounds to disturb us, birdsong and the babbling river Till. The land owner was extremely welcoming offering us a choice of several locations to park our van. Don’t expect high speed 4G connectivity, but do expect the opportunity to explore some of the hidden gems of Northumberland with excellent walks along the river as far as the Tweed and beyond.

Responsible travel

As a business with the value of nature at its core, we pledge to help restore and protect our landscape, through replanting trees and volunteering. We invite our members to donate and participate where possible.

Conscious camping is at the heart of our ethos. All our sites have minimal impact on the natural environment, and members are asked to behave sensitively to their surroundings and leave no trace.
